After 16 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Tavares. Edvaldo Bueno lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of COURO COME FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s goal. 22 minutes into the game, Sandy Fumarola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COURO COME FC the free kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

COURO COME FC's Iuri Koehler was substituted for Tião Castro. Galo Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Neto in the 73rd minute. Hugo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. COURO COME FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Galo Mineiro scored to the left of an out of position Hugo do Valle, making the score, 1-6. Hugo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo Mineiro in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Galo Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galo Mineiro in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dagoberto Siqueira hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Neto got free with Hugo do Valle in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani de Salles.
