A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Estebano Reganado hit a great ball. Murilo Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barcellos Mineiro FC. The referee gave Borussia Dortmund a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Artizar Vede, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho. 2-4. In the 66th minute, Teodoro Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Neto got free with Xofre Astola in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Duardo Bolantin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
