But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Coelho couldn't finish the play. Tião Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Xofre Astola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Coelho's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Duardo Bolantin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo do Valle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Manurga in the 17th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Valdo Manurga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bela Reynoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Flor Orbaneja got a free kick in the 29th minute. A hard shot by Antônio Tasso from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Xofre Astola's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Isadoro Archibeque kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebano Reganado to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes, Antônio Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COURO COME FC and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Antônio Tasso hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Valdo Manurga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

Hugo do Valle made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Duardo Bolantin sent off a good shot on target. Celsinho Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Coelho took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xofre Astola. Xofre Astola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. COURO COME FC made a substitution. Marcinho Cearense replaced Erik Coelho. Xofre Astola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Zaballos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Hugo do Valle made a huge save. After having played for 77 minutes, Dino Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COURO COME FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xofre Astola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Tavares in the 79th minute of play. Hugo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Manurga, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Hugo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duardo Bolantin in the 88th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Borussia Dortmund's Hugo do Valle threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filipe Zaballos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duardo Bolantin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
