Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Tavares in the 3rd minute of the match. Gil Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Castro in the 13th minute of play. Hugo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Galo Mineiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Hugo do Valle to make any attempt to save it. If Tião Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Antônio Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COURO COME FC's protests and gave Antônio Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. Antônio Tasso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gil Coelho came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by COURO COME FC's Erik Coelho. But to his dismay, Erik Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 44th minute Galo Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, Teodoro Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo do Valle. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo do Valle should have stopped the shot. In the 54th minute, Teodoro Neto made a precise shot to the right of Hugo do Valle. COURO COME FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando de Lara in the 57th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo do Valle came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Fernando de Lara. But to his dismay, Fernando de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Hugo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo do Valle came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Teodoro Neto. But to his dismay, Teodoro Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Sandy Fumarola got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Erik Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the COURO COME FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Coelho couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Queiroz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Queiroz in the 81st minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Galo Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Hugo do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Galo Mineiro went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gernando Bueno couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for COURO COME FC. After 91 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Cearense. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
