In the 9th minute, Olof Östman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xofre Astola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Xofre Astola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Colon Mestre. Malcolm Deckberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xofre Astola. Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Artizar Vede fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund's protests and gave Artizar Vede a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Artizar Vede hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, Preator Edikt's Malcolm Deckberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xofre Astola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Preator Edikt reached it. 24 minutes into the game, Nils-Erik Sundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Xofre Astola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Estebano Reganado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Bela Reynoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reine Pettersson skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute Olof Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xofre Astola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Borussia Dortmund's Xofre Astola. Xofre Astola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Preator Edikt defense, Estebano Reganado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reine Pettersson. The Preator Edikt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reine Pettersson should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duardo Bolantin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xofre Astola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duardo Bolantin in the 61st minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Reine Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Borussia Dortmund's Valdo Manurga in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preator Edikt's goalie prevented a goal. When Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Xofre Astola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Östman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Duardo Bolantin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Duardo Bolantin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Pettersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xofre Astola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Östman in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Preator Edikt's Olof Östman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xofre Astola. Xofre Astola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Sotil Cerdeño's late challenge caught a Preator Edikt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sotil Cerdeño helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Sotil Cerdeño got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Preator Edikt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borussia Dortmund.
