Tiago Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rufus Haydock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artie Mccarthy during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rufus Haydock was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
