Ricky Rowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Egg Chasers FC's Jay Mullen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kléberson Soeiro. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. Byron Radcliffe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Soeiro having to interfere. Kléberson Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Toovey in the 25th minute of the match. Ricky Rowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Caetano Azevedo got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tiago Ortiz hit a great ball. When Byron Radcliffe came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Radcliffe couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Fernando Banders made a precise shot to the right of Ricky Rowe. Egg Chasers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 41st play minute Byron Radcliffe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kléberson Soeiro. 2-2. After 44 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Chesney Wooding. Ricky Rowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dane Oldham to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Byron Radcliffe came free, but Kléberson Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
