A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Severino Cibran hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Luiz Fábio Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Isidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Ciro Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamine Yamal made a kick off. AFC FUSION's Severino Cibran pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jeremias Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Lando in the 80th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Imbituba - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Gonsalve. Luiz Fábio Hermes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Isidor. Carolo Isidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Carolo Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 95th minute of play.
