Rufus Haydock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dane Oldham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Ricky Rowe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Kile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byron Radcliffe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Byron Radcliffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dane Oldham in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rufus Haydock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rufus Haydock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Byron Radcliffe, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rufus Haydock came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Jay Mullen. But to his dismay, Jay Mullen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sebastian Selby kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Rick Kile shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricky Rowe but with some difficulty. Rufus Haydock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jay Mullen went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dane Oldham took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rufus Haydock. Rufus Haydock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ralph Turner's late challenge caught a Egg Chasers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Turner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Turner to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Dane Oldham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Rufus Haydock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Oldham in the 39th minute of play. Robert Ashby hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Egg Chasers FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 57 played minutes AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Jonty Connell. When Egg Chasers FC's Dane Oldham in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. Ralph Turner kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jay Mullen got free with Rufus Haydock in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Ralph Turner got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Ralph Turner off the ground. After a rather tough play, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Ralph Turner got a free kick in the 64th minute. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Dane Oldham scored to the left of an out of position Rufus Haydock, making the score, 0-5. Jay Mullen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Jay Mullen made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rufus Haydock was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Byron Radcliffe came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Radcliffe couldn't finish the play. Dwight Jeffress received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ricky Rowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Linkletter. 81 minutes into the game, Dwight Jeffress cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Ricky Rowe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rick Kile hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rufus Haydock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Oldham in the 91st minute of the match. Dane Oldham succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 93rd playminute. Rufus Haydock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Toovey in the 97th minute. When the match was over Egg Chasers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB throughout the match.
