Petruț Dugulescu started the match with the kick off. Olimpiu Teodorescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricky Rowe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Selby during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Sebastian Selby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petru Chirea got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Mullen in the 15th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ricky Rowe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay Mullen in the 22nd minute of play. When Petruț Dugulescu fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Petruț Dugulescu a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes into the game, Petru Chirea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egg Chasers FC the free kick. In the 30th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Chirea to maneuver through the defense. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Oldham in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Ricky Rowe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Alupulesei to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Mullen in the 42nd minute of the match. Petruț Dugulescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petruț Dugulescu got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sandu Bărbânță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Oldham in the 59th minute of play. Ricky Rowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Aron Mitruț. In the 70th play minute Dane Oldham came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ilie Brumaru. 0-1. The throw-in from Tom Revell in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petru Chirea. Ricky Rowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sandu Bărbânță hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. FC Cosula-BTF- succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Egg Chasers FC had controlled the match.
