The referee ignored Teodelina FC's protests and gave Domingo Ebardo a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Ebardo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Fernando Banders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bandeca FC booed when Teodelina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Ebardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Banders in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Teodelina FC's Placido Kauldi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléberson Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Flávio Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Waldir Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandeca FC and the Teodelina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Waldir Marquez hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Rami. After 22 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Salvadore. In the 33rd minute, Bandeca FC's Waldir Marquez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Jesus Flor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Azevedo in the 37th minute. Teodelina FC's Jesus Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Banders in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Tiago Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandeca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Tiago Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jesus Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Kauldi to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Fernando Banders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Gaufred in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Teodelina FC's Cesar Abastas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Cesar Abastas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Tiago Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jesus Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Placido Kauldi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kléberson Soeiro having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Waldir Marquez made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Flor. Teodelina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 91st minute, Luiz Gustavo Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandeca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Bandeca FC from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Teodelina FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bandeca FC.
