The referee showed Cipriano Joachim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Joachim. When FC Lugano's Matteo Gartenmann in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Simbo FC's Severiano Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Gartenmann in the 19th minute of play. Max Sevier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Matei in the 23rd minute of the match. When Denis Pitin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Simbo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Pitin couldn't finish the play. If Denis Pitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza in the 32nd minute of play. Max Sevier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Jaunti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. FC Lugano's Tiziano Gamache was substituted for Matteo Gartenmann. Max Sevier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Matei in the 41st minute of play. Max Sevier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Tiziano Gamache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Bonifaco came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Tiziano Gamache. But to his dismay, Tiziano Gamache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Matei to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiziano Gamache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Severiano Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Severiano Bonifaco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tiziano Gamache in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 61 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Pitin came free, but Max Sevier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Hanot to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Kimetz. Tiziano Gamache hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Tiziano Gamache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tade Zeller lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 86 minutes, Julian Rameriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simbo FC and the FC Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Simbo FC had won after a very even match.
