The crowd rose to their feet as FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Kile. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Turner in the 16th minute of play. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Kile in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Cosula-BTF- defense, Rick Kile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilie Brumaru. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilie Brumaru should have stopped the shot. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's David Kile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 29th minute of play. Olimpiu Teodorescu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. David Kile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosula-BTF-. When FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. Petruț Dugulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Kile in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Rick Kile came free, but Ilie Brumaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Teodorescu struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. David Kile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosula-BTF-. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Dugulescu to make the kick off. Robert Ashby made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rambo Lucas however managed to control. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Kile in the 58th minute of play. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Cosula-BTF- from getting a goal against them. Olimpiu Teodorescu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. David Kile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu made a precise shot to the right of David Kile. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Kile in the 96th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Cosula-BTF- were victorious despite being under pressure from AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB for much of the match.
