Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nestor Bâru took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Patrone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimundo Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Quinten in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Cesario came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Los Delfines getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. The wind increased when Atilano Quinten made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Josef Krumbacher. Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno was substituted for Nestor Bâru. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was substituted for Lotfi Ziadi. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Krumbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 69 in the game by Lenni Skensved from a close distance when the talented Matías Patrone managed to make a qualified save. Los Delfines's players were relieved. In the 71st minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Los Delfines's Matías Patrone got control of the ball when Máximo Kirchner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 78th minute of play. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Arquímedes Cesario notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol. Venancio Cristofol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Delfines made a substitution. Hector Abadia replaced Atilano Quinten. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Matías Patrone in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno. But to his dismay, Michal Stehno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Oliver Bierhoff succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Michal Stehno in Unidad de Matanza was the one to initiate the kick off. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 102nd minute. Máximo Kirchner struck a weak shot in the 107th minute. Matías Patrone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. Clodoveo Orlin made in the 110th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Máximo Kirchner however managed to control. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Stehno in the 113th minute of play. Unidad de Matanza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldemar Okopny in the 114th minute. Unidad de Matanza's Robert Zemeckis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matías Patrone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 116th minute of the match Unidad de Matanza got a corner. Los Delfines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waldemar Okopny ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Michal Stehno got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-3. 116 minutes into the match.
