Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, LİONS PEAK's Laerte Marquez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Bilintx in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feyzullay İltemur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Óscar Cordoba managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when LİONS PEAK's Laerte Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Laerte Marquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Óscar Cordoba came out and tried to block the shot, but Laerte Marquez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. 16 minutes in the game Carlo Crema did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Venancio Emesto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Marquez got free with Óscar Cordoba in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute LİONS PEAK were awarded a corner. Okan Buruk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sporting de Gijón's goalie and right to Shao Yong Nan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sporting de Gijón's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Óscar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Laerte Marquez sent off a good shot on target. Óscar Cordoba was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Laerte Marquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laerte Marquez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting de Gijón! When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Laerte Marquez sped through Sporting de Gijón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Óscar Cordoba. With a little luck, Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba got control of the ball when Laerte Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Marquez got free with Óscar Cordoba in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sporting de Gijón's Wayne Rooney was substituted for Alejandro Rufo. The wind increased when Matias Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Marquez in the 52nd minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LİONS PEAK's Wojciech Kobeko was substituted for Laerte Marquez. Feyzullay İltemur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Maradona in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LİONS PEAK's zone, Venancio Emesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feyzullay İltemur came out of the goal and Venancio Emesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Régis Vander struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Óscar Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LİONS PEAK. Sporting de Gijón's Mario Zanabria was substituted for Venancio Emesto. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alphonso Davies hit a great ball. Régis Vander might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Óscar Cordoba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Régis Vander ran back to his position shaking his head. Óscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Kobeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. LİONS PEAK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elmar Tuulemaa in the 94th minute. The corner led LİONS PEAK's Elmar Tuulemaa to fire away a dangerous shot which Óscar Cordoba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, LİONS PEAK's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Feyzullay İltemur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Curcio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting de Gijón players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LİONS PEAK.
