A collision led to The Phantom Troops FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hemza Adjani hit a great ball. Braden McNamara was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Laheen AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 37th minute, Lakhdar Yahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braden McNamara to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as The Phantom Troops FC's Abdelkader Khaled slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ailín McJames. That made the score 1-1 after 59 minutes of play. After 65 minutes The Phantom Troops FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hayes Gough who took care of the corner kick. Laheen AFC's Hayes Gough was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Salim Yahia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mourad Bentifour took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ailín McJames. Ailín McJames dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ailín McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nassim Labi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Bedilia Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Braden McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salim Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braden McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
