Garadice's Breen Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mastur Indrajit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thurl Kelly in the 38th minute of the match. Dudan Karo-karo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Flannery Perth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampyar FC. After 41 played minutes, Ampyar FC's Firdaus Sophian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flannery Perth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ampyar FC reached it.

Ampyar FC's Djati Yudhistira got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Djati Yudhistira off the ground. In the 81st minute, Djati Yudhistira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Garadice's goal looked a bit too open when Dudan Karo-karo came free, but Flannery Perth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
