After 17 minutes of play, Laheen AFC's Hayes Gough made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lisandro Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, Braden McNamara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laheen AFC and the Atletico ECCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atletico ECCA booed when Laheen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braden McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Belock Harkin in the 79th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Teodoro Reyes's left hand side. 83 minutes into the match, Hayes Gough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Reyes. Atletico ECCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hayes Gough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rolando Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailín McJames having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atletico ECCA's Flavio Maore got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Finbar McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laheen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Finbar McFrancise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braden McNamara scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laheen AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
