The supporters of The Phantom Troops FC booed when Hellas Verona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. 傅梁渊 didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lakhdar Yahia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the The Phantom Troops FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakhdar Yahia couldn't finish the play. 郝博寒 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, The Phantom Troops FC's goal looked a bit too open when 郝博寒 came free, but Salim Yahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salim Yahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 郝博寒 in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Nassim Labi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 梅光海. Nassim Labi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 梅光海 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nassim Labi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, one of Hellas Verona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hellas Verona. Hellas Verona:s 梅光海 showed great skill when he stopped Lakhdar Yahia:s penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, 肖钢超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellas Verona's supporters rose to their feet, but 肖钢超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salim Yahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Hellas Verona got a freekick which was hit by 孙霖烨. When 肖钢超 came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hellas Verona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 肖钢超 couldn't finish the play. Salim Yahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 于轩钢, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 洪康森 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Hellas Verona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 鲁升晨 to maneuver through the defense. Abdelkader Khaled's late challenge caught a Hellas Verona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelkader Khaled helped the player get up and apologised. Smail Morceli made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hellas Verona's 于轩钢. In the 73rd minute, 孙霖烨 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Hellas Verona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 郝博寒 to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, 肖钢超 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, The Phantom Troops FC's Abdel Karim Drioueche got a free kick in the 81st minute. If 肖钢超 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 孙霖烨 kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Mourad Bentifour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. 梅光海 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 肖钢超 charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 肖钢超 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hellas Verona's 肖钢超 got a free kick in the 91st minute. Hellas Verona were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
