The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago de Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matias Rufio. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Cássio Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Rufio having to interfere. Guillerme Batuecas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Asier in the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot 16 in the game by Thiago de Carvalho from a close distance when the talented Matias Rufio managed to make a qualified save. dynamo's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Firme in the 22nd minute of play forced Carnaubeir EC's goalkeeper Guillerme Batuecas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. dynamo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Chico Munhoz scored to the left of an out of position Matias Rufio, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Asier in the 29th minute of play forced Carnaubeir EC's goalkeeper Guillerme Batuecas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Carnaubeir EC defense, Cornelio Asier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillerme Batuecas. The Carnaubeir EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillerme Batuecas should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Melchor Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Asier in the 36th minute of play forced Carnaubeir EC's goalkeeper Guillerme Batuecas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When dynamo's Cornelio Asier in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carnaubeir EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute Melchor Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillerme Batuecas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillerme Batuecas came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by dynamo's Melchor Firme. But to his dismay, Melchor Firme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Thiago de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Matias Rufio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnaubeir EC. In the 47th minute, Chico Munhoz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Melchor Firme made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Filiberto Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Rufio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Teles in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Ponc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guillerme Batuecas, 3-3. After 60 minutes, Cornelio Asier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the dynamo and the Carnaubeir EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Asier hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Melchor Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. dynamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillerme Batuecas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillerme Batuecas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Asier in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago de Carvalho in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Rufio saved dynamo from getting behind. Matias Rufio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago de Carvalho in the 68th minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, Carnaubeir EC's Paulo Mannuel made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Rufio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Rufio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Luizão de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Rufio having to make a save. The supporters of dynamo booed when Carnaubeir EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillerme Batuecas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Firme in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Ademir Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filiberto Remigio fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored dynamo's protests and gave Filiberto Remigio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute of the match Luizão de Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Rufio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Chico Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
