In the 3rd minute Tobin Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Atletico ECCA's goal looked a bit too open when Tobin Gollogley came free, but Teodoro Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Rolando Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico ECCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flannery Perth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Lisandro Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico ECCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Ciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bard Ghee in the 20th minute of the match. Teodoro Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thurl Kelly in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Atletico ECCA's Lisandro Ciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flannery Perth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Lisandro Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Dimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breen Todd got free with Teodoro Reyes in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Tobin Gollogley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Reyes. Tobin Gollogley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Flannery Perth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Dimo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Garadice's Teodoro Reyes threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobin Gollogley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Atletico ECCA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thurl Kelly to make the kick off. Flannery Perth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Rolando Tino put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Flannery Perth. Flannery Perth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Tino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th minute Tobin Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Columbo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Flannery Perth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Tino in the 70th minute of play. Rolando Tino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flannery Perth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garadice's Tobin Gollogley got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Tobin Gollogley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garadice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico ECCA the free kick. After 77 played minutes Garadice got a freekick which was hit by Tobin Gollogley. A hard shot 78 in the game by Rolando Tino from a close distance when the talented Flannery Perth managed to make a qualified save. Garadice's players were relieved. Teodoro Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breen Todd in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Baltasar Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes of play, Garadice's Tobin Gollogley made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 89 minutes, Tobin Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garadice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobin Gollogley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Atletico ECCA got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Lesardo. The Atletico ECCA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
