But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 刘兴景 couldn't finish the play. 宋军风 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garadice's Flannery Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 温潮冰 in the 15th minute of play. Ravan Hughes made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dinamo Zagreb's 康昆挺. If 宋军风 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute 刘兴景 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flannery Perth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, 宋军风 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo Zagreb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 27 minutes of play, Dinamo Zagreb's 宋军风 made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flannery Perth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Garadice's goal looked a bit too open when 温潮冰 came free, but Flannery Perth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Garadice booed when Dinamo Zagreb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. 胡升 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinamo Zagreb were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
