When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The Carnaubeir EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Brodel should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Sedat Regaip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chico Munhoz went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ademir Moreno hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Chico Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chico Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ahmet Sedat Regaip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Jeferson Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vânderson Albuquerque took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Sedat Regaip. Sefaköy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcelo Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Aktekin in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Carnaubeir EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Cabir came free, but Marcelo Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
