The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Garadice's zone, Djati Yudhistira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flannery Perth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Patiruhu in the 4th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ampyar FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Breccan Dillon lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 31st minute, Thurl Kelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garadice's Flannery Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Patiruhu in the 35th minute of play. 2-2 became the score in the 37th minute when Breen Todd elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Breen Todd scored 3-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mastur Indrajit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobin Gollogley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mastur Indrajit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aras Patiruhu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flannery Perth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aras Patiruhu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Ampyar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aga Sutimbul to maneuver through the defense. Dudan Karo-karo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Flannery Perth made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Patiruhu in the 73rd minute of play forced Garadice's goalkeeper Flannery Perth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Aras Patiruhu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flannery Perth. The goal made the score 3-3. Flannery Perth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Patiruhu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th match minute, Garadice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flannery McFrank to maneuver through the defense.
