Braden McNamara started the match with the kick off. Fidel Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braden McNamara might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Erasto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braden McNamara ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Desiderio Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harley McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Guillen during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edelmiro Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Braden McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ailín McJames was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Desiderio Loren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Desiderio Loren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Belock Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Atletico ECCA's goal looked a bit too open when Hayes Gough came free, but Anselmo Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico ECCA's zone, Finbar McFrancise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Erasto came out of the goal and Finbar McFrancise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Belock Harkin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laheen AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico ECCA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Laheen AFC's Belock Harkin got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience was convinced that Fidel Abadie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ailín McJames was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Teodoro Reyes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Laheen AFC's Harley McWillie got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Abadie to strike the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Erasto made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Hayes Gough sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Atletico ECCA's Desiderio Loren got a free kick in the 54th minute. Atletico ECCA's Anselmo Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braden McNamara in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laheen AFC's Brendon McLaughlin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Teodoro Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Evelio Bartolome had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Bedilia Kirby charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedilia Kirby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Laheen AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bedilia Kirby hit a great ball. Atletico ECCA's Fidel Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 75th minute of the match Bedilia Kirby completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bedilia Kirby a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Laheen AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bedilia Kirby hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Edelmiro Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laheen AFC's Ailín McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Abadie in the 79th minute of play. Atletico ECCA's Edelmiro Guillen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ailín McJames in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fidel Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ailín McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braden McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Laheen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Barra Moran. In the 91st minute, Theobald McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hayes Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Atletico ECCA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Laheen AFC for a fine match.
