When Camilo Xabier fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored dynamo's protests and gave Camilo Xabier a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Xabier. Melchor Firme struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Salim Yahia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dynamo. After 24 played minutes dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Ponc. In the 25th minute Abdel Karim Drioueche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salim Yahia was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Melchor Firme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melchor Firme really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The Phantom Troops FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after dynamo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lakhdar Yahia took the corner. After taking down the ball on The Phantom Troops FC's corner Lakhdar Yahia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Rufio quite easily take care of the ball. dynamo's Matias Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Labi in the 40th minute of play. Matias Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdel Karim Drioueche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salim Yahia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Asier in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Abdelkader Khaled hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nassim Labi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Wilfredo Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to dynamo getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cornelio Asier hit a great ball. dynamo's Matias Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Labi in the 58th minute of play. If Nassim Labi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Cornelio Asier sped through The Phantom Troops FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salim Yahia. Cornelio Asier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelkader Khaled's late challenge caught a dynamo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelkader Khaled helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of dynamo booed when The Phantom Troops FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelkader Khaled didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Firme in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salim Yahia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 71 minutes, Cornelio Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. dynamo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Cornelio Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Salim Yahia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melchor Firme scored 5-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salim Yahia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mourad Bentifour hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. dynamo's Matias Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Labi in the 94th minute of play. Cornelio Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The dynamo fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Phantom Troops FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
