Tommy Farrow got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tyrone Coleman. In the 13th minute, 김 준 made a precise shot to the right of Ken Warner. Jordan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 김 준 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ken Warner came out and tried to block the shot, but 김 준 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 김 준 got free with Ken Warner in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 김 담 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Sawbridge in the 25th minute of the match. Ken Warner made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when 김 준 sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Jordan's Tommy Farrow got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If 김 준 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 준 in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ken Warner saved Jordan from getting behind. Ken Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 준, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jordan's zone, 김 준 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ken Warner came out of the goal and 김 준 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ken Warner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 김 준 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Ken Warner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jordan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 김 엽 was slow to take the kick. During this time South Korea's players had a chance to rest. 김 임 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Lofthouse to make the kick off. Ken Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 준 in the 61st minute of play. Ken Warner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Sung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The South Korea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ken Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 준 in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, 김 준 notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Jordan's Ken Warner. Ken Warner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ken Warner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 준 in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 최 명 in the 83rd minute of play forced Jordan's goalkeeper Ken Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jordan's Denis Sawbridge got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes, South Korea's Sam Sung shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ken Warner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in South Korea reached it. In the 87th match minute, Jordan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Reading to maneuver through the defense. 김 임 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ken Warner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute 김 영 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Jordan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Lofthouse to maneuver through the defense. Jordan's Ken Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 영 in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute South Korea were awarded a corner. 김 엽 went to the cornerflag to take it.
