Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Rito having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Capibaribe Stars's Cayetano Rito threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Sousa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, one of Paulopolis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Capibaribe Stars's Pan Zhi Peng got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cayetano Rito. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atalay Turkay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Sousa took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 32 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Daniel Sousa sped through Paulopolis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cayetano Rito. Daniel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cayetano Rito made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Daniel Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sousa in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Rito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dieguinho Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Sousa in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Rito saved Paulopolis from getting behind. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Enrique Falcão hit a great ball. Capibaribe Stars made a substitution. Jarl Rossebø replaced Daşdämir Albändiyev. In the 57th minute, Enrique Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 66 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Rito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes Paulopolis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atalay Turkay who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Atalay Turkay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito did a great save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruy Carneiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa. But to his dismay, Daniel Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Daniel Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Cayetano Rito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Rossebø in the 93rd minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Smitt's late challenge caught a Capibaribe Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Smitt helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the game, one of Paulopolis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Capibaribe Stars had played much better football throughout.
