Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Les Tigres from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Phạm Nguyet came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Les Tigres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzo Maradona should have stopped the shot. Tanek Ostrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Czeslaw Domeracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzo Maradona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Edvard Võsandi sent off a good shot on target. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şota Arveladze in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's Severino Estevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Ostrowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olympique Gdynia had played much better football throughout.
