Vladimiro Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. George Forsyth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Vito to maneuver through the defense. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 92nd match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarmo Kaare to maneuver through the defense. When Enrique Cassaretto came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Cassaretto couldn't finish the play. Ladislao Erramu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save.

CD Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
