Equipo were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Savage Hippo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Lekberg couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Cristi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Askstedt having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Lekberg made a kick off. Kim Lekberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Furman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Equipo's Ismael Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Equipo from getting a goal against them. Kim Lekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Lekberg in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Vilmantas Magdišauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savage Hippo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilmantas Magdišauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 78th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Kim Lekberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harun Elçin in the 81st minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Kim Lekberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Furman. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Kim Lekberg sent off a good shot on target.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Savage Hippo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
