After a defensive mix-up in XV de Piracicaba's zone, Carlos Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fonso Zotillo came out of the goal and Carlos Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Medárd Horváth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Fonso Zotillo made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Capixaba came free, but Gianluigi Orange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medárd Horváth in the 73rd minute of play. Medárd Horváth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fonso Zotillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Carlos Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fonso Zotillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaltino Pirani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fonso Zotillo. That made the score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Pirani got free with Fonso Zotillo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save XV de Piracicaba from getting a goal against them. Felice Cavallaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. The XV de Piracicaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Coice de Mula were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
