Äli Abdulrähmanov made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Casimiro Jatsu. In the 32nd minute Eliézer Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Airborne FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Divina Comédia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qin Xiang Chuan took the corner. Airborne FC's Danilo Principe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zhuang Shi Ting in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Casimiro Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Airborne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Jatsu couldn't finish the play. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
