Fonso Zotillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Pimenta. After 6 minutes of play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Joinvilense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fonso Zotillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense made a precise shot to the right of Fonso Zotillo. XV de Piracicaba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 18 played minutes Wolves FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Hadji Diouf. After recieving a nice pass, XV de Piracicaba's Wen Yong Sha tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense made a precise shot to the right of Fonso Zotillo. XV de Piracicaba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Remo Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Joinvilense took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fonso Zotillo. Fonso Zotillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Severino Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XV de Piracicaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolves FC - DMZ the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Severino Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fonso Zotillo saved XV de Piracicaba from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Joinvilense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Fonso Zotillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Murillo Trigo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Wolves FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Gonzalo Jurdan scored to the left of an out of position Guillen Aguillar, making the score, 1-6. After the first half Wolves FC - DMZ were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Capixaba in the 56th minute of play forced Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the XV de Piracicaba defense, Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fonso Zotillo. The XV de Piracicaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fonso Zotillo should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Löhr came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Ronaldo Joinvilense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abram Cadabra hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 90th minute of play. Fonso Zotillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neto Queraria in the 92nd minute. The XV de Piracicaba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wolves FC - DMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Wolves FC - DMZ.
