The audience was convinced that Diego Armando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gino Tonić was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Fausto Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Charlie Vandamme fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fausto Gaspar, passed just outside the right post. Mané Belino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elce Teleagă made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Corrupção DMZ's zone, Elce Teleagă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Gaspar came out of the goal and Elce Teleagă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 52 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Quintal came free, but Gino Tonić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, New Miran FC's Charlie Vandamme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Gaspar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After some careless play in the Corrupção DMZ defense, Álvaro Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Gaspar. The Corrupção DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Gaspar should have stopped the shot. New Miran FC's Dito Penha was substituted for Hugo De Leon. In the 73rd match minute, Corrupção DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Pontes to maneuver through the defense.
