With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida got control of the ball when Marco Löhr tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Mayhem Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arcadio Valdés to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Cadabra in the 6th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington de Almeida. The Mayhem Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington de Almeida should have stopped the shot. Mayhem Sharks made a substitution. Aloísio Toscano replaced Horácio Tinoco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillen Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fachtna Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Löhr in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wolves FC - DMZ's Guillen Aguillar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fachtna Duggan in the 31st minute of play. Guillen Aguillar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fachtna Duggan in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Löhr in the 38th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wellington de Almeida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Joinvilense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington de Almeida was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Ronaldo Joinvilense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Joinvilense was the one to do the kick off. Wellington de Almeida came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 55th match minute, Wolves FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Löfkvist to maneuver through the defense. Marco Löhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Wellington de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolves FC - DMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
