A collision led to Juventus EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Magno de Moraes hit a great ball. César Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bilbo Arzube. Juventus EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Airborne FC's Marcos Linares got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomm Thys in the 33rd minute of play. Pedro Paulo Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmyr Loyola went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Horia Lupu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Lupu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilbo Arzube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Paulo Barreto was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Walmyr Loyola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walmyr Loyola really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Airborne FC made a substitution. Sven Lind replaced Danilo Principe. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Gervaso to strike the kick off in the second half. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
