In the 29thth minute of the game Walmyr Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Walmyr Loyola scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fonso Zotillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Capixaba got free with Bilbo Arzube in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Gervaso was the one to do the kick off. Fonso Zotillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Gervaso in the 61st minute of the match. Fonso Zotillo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Fran Yeste sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Goiano in the 66th minute of play forced Juventus EC's goalkeeper Bilbo Arzube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurico Novaes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomm Thys in the 92nd minute of play. Bilbo Arzube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. XV de Piracicaba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Nilson Leite scored to the left of an out of position Fonso Zotillo, making the score, 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juventus EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
