Ferdinand Joldea made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Eliézer Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. Eliézer Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Joldea having to make a save. The throw-in from Régis Quintal in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Mel Speerschneider. In the 38th minute, Teofil Gorzkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliézer Cavalcante. After a defensive mix-up in Divina Comédia FC's zone, Yang Sang Qian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhuang Shi Ting came out of the goal and Yang Sang Qian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Eliézer Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Cavalcante came free, but Ferdinand Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Guilherme Félix replaced Yang Sang Qian. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Andrézinho Recife was substituted for Maximino Bidari. Divina Comédia FC's Zhuang Shi Ting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Lira in the 80th minute of play.
