Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Lara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Higinio Gonzales came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Pedro Augusto Carneiro. But to his dismay, Pedro Augusto Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Jorge Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Gonzales. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 31st minute, Jorge Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 34th minute, Jorge Lara made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Gonzales. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 44 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Carneiro came free, but Higinio Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Romulo Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Ismael Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Juvenal in the 53rd minute of play. Romulo Juvenal charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Juvenal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Higinio Gonzales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Augusto Carneiro. Higinio Gonzales was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Pedro Augusto Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Augusto Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB! Higinio Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lara in the 75th minute of play. Oscar Rezende made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Aureliano Javiero. In the 78thth minute of the game Romulo Juvenal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Ismael Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Pedro Augusto Carneiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Gonzales. Higinio Gonzales yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Oliveira in the 88th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Higinio Gonzales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Augusto Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Gonzales came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Augusto Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 89th minute. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Modesto Mercurio hit a great ball. Kléberson Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Lara came free, but Higinio Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Passos in the 98th minute of play. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
