Sixto Verdaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lara in the 12th minute of play. Sixto Verdaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Valdemar Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Ufret came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Valadares could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Modroñes's zone, Jorge Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Verdaguer came out of the goal and Jorge Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Modroñes getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Chalá Albertos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Luís Fabiano Paes got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Modroñes booed when AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Ismael Valadares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Modroñes's Lorenzo Urdiales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Valadares. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. A collision led to Modroñes getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lorenzo Urdiales hit a great ball. Sixto Verdaguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Augusto Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The supporters of Modroñes booed when AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Verdaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ booed when Modroñes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Machuca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valdemar Passos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. Pedro Augusto Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Verdaguer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Augusto Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the game, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Jorge Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Verdaguer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Verdaguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 minutes, Urbano Ufret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Modroñes and the AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Urbano Ufret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Augusto Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sixto Verdaguer made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Modroñes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ:s goal. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Kléberson Oliveira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sixto Verdaguer. Jorge Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sixto Verdaguer made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Chalá Albertos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléberson Oliveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixto Verdaguer. Modroñes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Pedro Augusto Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Augusto Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Verdaguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes of play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Jorge Lara made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Verdaguer was left in no man's land by his defense there!
