Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enio Travassos to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Faas Marsal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário Quirino. Estrela Solitária's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faas Marsal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 55 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Renato Nascimento. In the 55th minute of the match Oscar Prestes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mário Quirino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manoel Botelho took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Quirino. Mário Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vânderson Arruda hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Vitinho Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrela Solitária fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 79th match minute, Zuera Never End MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Arce to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Everton having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Décio Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuera Never End MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrela Solitária the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zuera Never End MZC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! When Cherif Gomez fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuera Never End MZC's protests and gave Cherif Gomez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cherif Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luiz Guilherme Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Everton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estrela Solitária players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zuera Never End MZC.
