Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Candido Valerón got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Armando Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MLM's Argi Saura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Gartxot in the 4th minute of play. If Andres Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristos Huarte hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rene Pitin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Argi Saura. MLM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 8 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Candido Valerón. Amador Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartzea Vera in the 18th minute of play. Cosme Mattin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Argi Saura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Valerón in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Frichoso saved Barreal FC from getting behind. Candido Valerón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Frichoso having to interfere. Flavio Colillas kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The MLM fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when MLM's Candido Valerón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. MLM made a substitution. Bertol Elias replaced Quirce Torrent. The Barreal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MLM were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Gartxot to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match, Candido Valerón tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amador Frichoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Candido Valeróns short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Amador Frichoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Bertol Elias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Valerón in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Frichoso saved Barreal FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Valerón in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, one of Barreal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barreal FC. Cipriano Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goalkeeper Amador Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Valerón. In the 102nd minute, Candido Valerón fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amador Frichoso, passed just outside the right post. The MLM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MLM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
