The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Vedillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Bruce Pesch made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Goren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruce Pesch scored 9-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Goren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bruce Pesch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
