Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ronnie Schilder got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ahmet Korcan Deryace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Hansjörg Görlitz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fenerbahçe's Volkan Demirel. Volkan Demirel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Volkan Demirel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fenerbahçe's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Schilder in the 15th minute of play. Olaf Lübke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferhan Mevlit went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Alp Baykoca to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Ronnie Schilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Lübke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kaan Ulağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Tenhagen came free, but Volkan Demirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferhan Mevlit struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Olaf Lübke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. Hansjörg Görlitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Simeon Gill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Korcan Deryace. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baysal Vedatoğulları to strike the kick off in the second half. If İbrahim Efe Nuratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe's Volkan Demirel got control of the ball when Rudi Tenhagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Volkan Demirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Schilder in the 64th minute of play. With his leg Volkan Demirel managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when SC Otten's Rudi Tenhagen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fenerbahçe made a substitution. Emrah Yağızkan replaced Doğuhan Başeskioğlu. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ali Kaan Ulağ hit a great ball. After 77 minutes, Necdet Hekimhanlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe and the SC Otten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fenerbahçe made a substitution. Göktuğ İkram replaced Baysal Vedatoğulları. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Fenerbahçe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Otten:s goal. Volkan Demirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damir Preußner in the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Ronnie Schilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Schilder might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Demirel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronnie Schilder ran back to his position shaking his head.
