The crowd rose to their feet as Frederik Vielmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Volkan Demirel. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Fenerbahçe's Volkan Demirel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 19 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Volkan Demirel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederik Vielmann. The audience was convinced that Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Demirel was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Volkan Demirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Vielmann in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Otten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Volkan Demirel came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Otten's Frederik Vielmann. But to his dismay, Frederik Vielmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Volkan Demirel made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Mel Ecker sent off a good shot on target. Volkan Demirel was a little too slow when Frederik Vielmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 6-0. Fenerbahçe's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Frederik Vielmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Otten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

57 minutes into the game, Heinrich Langer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Otten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe the free kick. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Heinrich Langer hit a great ball. Volkan Demirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Vielmann in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Ahmet Korcan Deryace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Otten made a substitution. Ronnie Schilder replaced Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt. Ahmet Korcan Deryace kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emrah Yağızkan during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Emrah Yağızkan. In the 80th minute Hansjörg Görlitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Damir Preußner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Volkan Demirel. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damir Preußner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 92nd minute, Ronnie Schilder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Volkan Demirel was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. 95 minutes into the game, Ronnie Schilder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Volkan Demirel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Otten fully deserved thier win.
