Wilton Cruz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Lucrețiu Blejan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's Hamílton Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codrin Vrabie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elivélton Macedo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Lucrețiu Blejan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Elivélton Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meia Ronda and the Cere players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cere booed when Meia Ronda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Lucrețiu Blejan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Didi Soeiro scored to the left of an out of position Codrin Vrabie, making the score, 1-1. If Didi Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Codrin Vrabie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Cere got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Unchiaşu. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cere's goalkeeper Codrin Vrabie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucian Huțupan was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Blejan came free, but Gernando Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Huțupan got free with Gernando Severo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gernando Severo had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicolae Plopșor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nicolae Plopșor scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gernando Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Hamílton Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meia Ronda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cere the free kick. The supporters of Cere booed when Meia Ronda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Nicolae Plopșor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, one of Meia Ronda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meia Ronda. A collision led to Cere getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Toader Bacanu hit a great ball. Meia Ronda's Didi Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Meia Ronda booed when Cere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Bacanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cere's Codrin Vrabie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Soeiro in the 97th minute of play. Cere's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
