Horácio Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Ali Nabi İlkutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Viana was a little too slow when Ali Nabi İlkutay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Hikmet Türkoğlu scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Douglas Viana came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by DEMİREL.FC's Selçuk Sağan. But to his dismay, Selçuk Sağan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Douglas Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nabi İlkutay, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 23 minutes of play, DEMİREL.FC's Ali Nabi İlkutay made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nabi İlkutay came free, but Douglas Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Carlos Arantes hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Ali Nabi İlkutay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Viana skillfully saved the ball. Douglas Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selçuk Sağan in the 30th minute of play. DEMİREL.FC's Birdal Sebil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Mendonça in the 32nd minute of play. Alfredo da Rocha took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birdal Sebil. Birdal Sebil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 36th minute Alfredo da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birdal Sebil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafet Ülken hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The SORRISO E. C. fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when SORRISO E. C.'s Alberto Mendonça looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute, Alfredo da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Penha to maneuver through the defense.
51 minutes into the game, Rafet Ülken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DEMİREL.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SORRISO E. C. the free kick. The supporters of SORRISO E. In the 56th minute, Alberto Mendonça reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Birdal Sebil. The goal made the score 4-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alfredo da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birdal Sebil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Horácio Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SORRISO E. C.'s protests and gave Horácio Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hikmet Türkoğlu's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Birdal Sebil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 78th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play DEMİREL.FC's Rafet Ülken was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th match minute, DEMİREL.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafet Ülken to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo da Rocha. Dário Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. DEMİREL.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nabi İlkutay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfredo da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Hikmet Türkoğlu. Horácio Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birdal Sebil having to interfere. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when DEMİREL.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Tekinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Betinho Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birdal Sebil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
