Nunez Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Balaeț in the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Teodelina FC defense, Reese Otto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Peli. The Teodelina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Peli should have stopped the shot. Reese Otto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nunez Peli made a huge save. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Mas in the 12th minute of the match. Teodelina FC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Zamalek FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ali Numan Dilazad took the corner. The corner ended in Ali Numan Dilazad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock did a great save. Mugurel Balaeț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Nunez Peli made a huge save. Nunez Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reese Otto in the 20th minute. After 25 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Loramendi. Teodelina FC's Nunez Peli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Teodelina FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Mugurel Balaeț took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nunez Peli to make any attempt to save it. Nunez Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Fred Kirkpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Nunez Peli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Nunez Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reese Otto. If Godfredo Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Teodelina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Bermund didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reese Otto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nunez Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reese Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Nunez Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Queirós in the 53rd minute of play. Fred Kirkpatrick's late challenge caught a Teodelina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Kirkpatrick helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Kirkpatrick. Teodelina FC's Marnix Harmannus was substituted for Godfredo Bermund. In the 57th minute, Fred Kirkpatrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhys Dimmock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marnix Harmannus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 60 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Kirkpatrick came free, but Nunez Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Kirkpatrick in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Peli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Daron Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zamalek FC made a substitution. 武挺西 replaced Reese Otto. 74 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Kirkpatrick came free, but Nunez Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Feliu. Nunez Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武挺西 in the 80th minute of play. Nunez Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 武挺西 went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Davis Duff got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rhys Dimmock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marnix Harmannus in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Davis Duff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodelina FC's Marnix Harmannus got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
