Seahawks V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Albano Flores scored to the left of an out of position Iordanis Kopanakis, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Böcklund during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, one of Boca Juniors fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boca Juniors fc. Ryszard Kaczanek came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Seahawks V55's Manolis Kalergis. But to his dismay, Manolis Kalergis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ryszard Kaczanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Droumalias in the 31st minute of play. When Oliver Bierhoff came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Boca Juniors fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Bierhoff couldn't finish the play. Anier Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Boca Juniors fc got a freekick which was hit by Anier Eutor. Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Droumalias in the 41st minute of play. When Iordanis Christodoulakis fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seahawks V55's protests and gave Iordanis Christodoulakis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Boca Juniors fc booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Christodoulakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Seahawks V55 were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Iordanis Kopanakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Thanos Kalfoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seahawks V55 and the Boca Juniors fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Kalfoglou. Ismael Bizen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ryszard Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Droumalias, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Iordanis Kopanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Albano Flores cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Ismael Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Anier Eutor made a precise shot to the right of Iordanis Kopanakis. Seahawks V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. After a rather tough play, Seahawks V55's Iordanis Christodoulakis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Nekos. For all the effort they put into the match, the Seahawks V55 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boca Juniors fc.
